Traditional Powers of Djottin Confer Ambassadorial Powers to Illustrious Son! Following the very successful Extraordinary Congress of the Djottin Area Development Association DADA that took place recently in Yaounde, the traditional Powers of Djottin-Noni have decided to confer ambassadorial powers to one of Djottin’s illustrious sons Dr Nfii Ndikintum Kangong. This notion of Nfon Nkwantè was hatched following the enthusiasm that has been ignited amongst the new generation of kedjottin in the recent past. It is simply the thirst for a new Djottin. In the immediate past,  a Motive force has emerged, with a particular style proper to it, provoking a massive response to this burning desire to rebuild Djottin. The notion of Nfon Nkwantè as proposed by the Traditional Powers of Djottin is motivated by the wish to provide an informed leadership among kedjottin outside Djottin.  It is further geared towards giving the Nfons of Djottin “an international voice to speak...

He further explained that despite the lofty goals behind the creation of development agencies by the state, the successes registered have been minimal because the state is the sole proprietor of these Institutions and its “attendant power-centric maneuvers combined with other corporate governance dissonances” have...

“Intra and Inter Village Differences have Divided and weakened Noni’s Quest to Assert its Identity” -Dr. Ndyun Aloysius Mbuh Noni by virtue of its population is generally considered as the minority tribe in Bui Division. As a result of this reality, the tribe has constantly suffered marginalisation and exclusion from the larger tribes and from Administrative Conspiracies thus excluding it from certain political benefits that under normal circumstances should have been theirs. Dr. Ndyun Aloysius Mbuh vividly paints the marginalisation and other abnormal conditions that the Noni people have been through. His genuineness is however highlighted by his acknowledgement of the fact that the intra and inter village differences have greatly divided and weakened Noni’s efforts to assert its identity in Bui Division. He was interviewed by Francis Ekongang Nzante Excerpts Could you shed some light on the focus of your Doctoral Thesis? …………. My thesis titled “ Noni political asser...
